ELMEKO stands for electromechanical components for everything to do with enclosures. Our focus is on air conditioning, lighting and control cabinet accessories. It is always our goal to offer our customers added value, such as cooling devices with ATEX approval, controllers with extensive regulation and monitoring functions, lights with a voltage range of 24 - 265V or enclosure drainage with protection class IP68 / IP69. - We can only ensure the high demands on our products through in-house development. Our core competencies are thermoelectric cooling and dehumidification with Peltier technology as well as LED enclosure lighting. Completed by electronics and software development, ELMEKO offers various controllers for regulating, monitoring and visualizing. Customer solutions with adapted software for data transmission are part of the portfolio, a step towards Industry 4.0.
- Production in Liebenscheid is the core of our company and ensures consistently high quality. We achieve this with the help of our qualified employees and using high-quality individual parts from well-known manufacturers. Special features are short lead times, high flexibility and production from single pieces to small and large series.
- Our service begins with advising customers on the choice of the right products. In addition to personal advice, there are calculation and selection programs that are also available as apps. The after-sales service with accessories and spare parts as well as repairs and warranty cases are also handled in an accommodating and customer-friendly manner.
- Personal contact with our customers is still important to us, be it with ELMEKO directly, through a specialist dealer or the electrical wholesaler. In addition, the products are sold through our own online shop and other online portals. Distribution takes place worldwide, directly or through local distribution partners.
From customer requirements to series production
Customer requests, constant market observation, own ideas and new technologies provide the input for new products.
Experienced designers create drawings, 3D models, calculations and simulations and can thus achieve short development times.
Samples and pre-series parts for testing and customer presentation are created in 3D printing close to series.
Before the release for production, measurements and tests of the product properties are implemented. If necessary, certifications according to UL, ATEX or customer specifications are carried out.
Hand in hand with the definition of all components and the documentation, the planning and start-up of series production take place according to defined production and test steps.
New products are presented at trade fairs and directly to the customer. The products reach the customer via various distribution channels.
Timeline
ELMEKO was founded as a trading company in 2004, with the aim of providing its customers with the largest possible range of switchgear cabinets and accessories. Only a few years later, the company had progressed from simply trading to manufacturing. The idea was to implement not only customer requests, but also the company’s own ideas. The first home-grown product was launched in 2008: the LED lamp LE-300-SX. In-house production of lamps and air conditioning components began in 2012, and it was necessary to double production floor area by 2017. Within only a few years, a wide variety of new, innovative products was added to the range.
