ELMEKO switchgear cabinet heaters for outdoor applications

LIEBENSCHEID – Switchgear cabinet heaters protect sensitive electronic components against the adverse effects of cold air and prevent condensation caused by low or fluctuating temperatures. ELMEKO has expanded its portfolio upwards with the addition of 1200 W and 1500 W versions of the HL series.

An integrated fan ensures the even distribution of temperature throughout the enclosure, thus effectively preventing temperature fluctuations and condensation. HL heaters are sturdily constructed, compact units with a wide operating temperature range from -40 °C to +70 °C and a long service life of 50,000 h, so they are ideal for use in outdoor applications.

The HL 1200C and HL 1500C models feature an integrated thermostat with an optional alarm – for example in the event of a fan breakdown – to increase operational security and reliability.

HL heaters are housed in a robust 120 mm x 95 mm x 165 mm (L x W x H) plastic enclosure, weigh a little over 1,100 g and operate on a power supply of 230 V 50/60 Hz.

The ELMEKO delivery range includes heaters from 10 to 1500 W, with and without fans and suitable for various voltages. Thermostats and hygrostats are available as accessories.
