Roof-mount fans
A roof-mounted fan sucks the warm air out of the top of the enclosure, thereby supporting the warm airflow from the bottom up and preventing heat build-up in the upper area. Roof-mounted fans are used when a high air throughput is required and no special requirements are placed on the degree of protection. Even if devices with a built-in fan are used in the enclosure, such as a frequency converter, the air flow is increased and the warm air is optimally discharged upwards. It is important that there are openings for supply air in the lower area, ideally inlet filters GV 400/500 or GV 600/700.
